Many of our most vulnerable children and families are facing additional financial strain and stress, resulting in less stable environments where neglect is likely to thrive. Mary Lee’s House has responded to COVID-19 by creating Emergency Care Packages for babies filled with diapers, formula, bottles, wipes, etc. to try to help reduce the burden on families struggling at this time.
With the help of gracious donations, we have been able to purchase supplies for over 50 Emergency Care Packages for families.
We were also grateful to purchase supplies and create more packages due to the donations received from #GivingTuesdayNow as we participated in the NonProfit Matching Fund Initiative on May 5th. We will continue to be a resource to the community during these times and reach even more families in our community.
